Post Something Positive Here Each Day

#1

Please tell me AT LEAST one POSITIVE thing that occurred during the course of your day(or night).
It can be an action or event, a thought, emotion, or a sight, smell, taste, sound or physical sensation. ONLY POSITIVES, NO negatives.

Nothing is too trivial and feel free to add more positive things as they happen.

Thanks...

Ally

I cooked four different things on top of the stove at one time, and didn't goof up any of them. :')

I feel slightly better today.

Last night it rained and it is in the 70's, sunny and such a clean, beautiful day out this morning. Refreshing.

I woke early today and got washed and dressed and will go out and enjoy the nice weather.

My potted flowers are vibrant.

I brainstormed last night to figure out what was causing my flare for 3 days. It was a subtle change. I missed it because I was sleeping. I have been waking up in the morning cold. Just that simple change and such bad flares. Used the space heater last night and recovered!

I woke up this morning and could see the sun shining through the tree. It looked like a bright star. It was mesmerizing. Good time to talk to God.

I have a lot to be thankful for.

My husband did not even think twice or show any signs of upset when we had to drive 3 hours round trip on our 3 days vacation because I forgot my medication. I feel very special and loved.

I got more accomplished today than I had anticipated.

My niece is going to send my cat a toy called Cat's Meow as a thank you for a favor I did for her. Esther is going to love it and I will enjoy watching her play with it. :')

I listened to beautiful relaxing music most of the day.

My visit to the periodontist today was hopeful. I may not need surgery on my gum. No infection was found today and he said it looked a lot better. He didn't charge me for the xray he took today or the past three visits. He's so nice. I like this guy. :')

I am very happy today! I have a new heat source. Our new pellet stove was installed and it does put out the heat. On my worst days I will be sitting in my chair having my feet blown with hot air. I'm excited because it should help with the pain. So, YaHoo!

I have a second praise. It has been beautiful and sunny here for the last week. I know the high east winds and freezing rain are coming, but the sun shining in on me when I wake up brings a smile every time.

I've got chicken soup cooking on the stove.

Doctor gave me a good idea for pancake made with quinoa, egg, and oat flour, all gluten free. It came out good considering it was my first try. Next time maybe will top off with some cooked apples and cinnamon.

I twisted my knee 2 days ago and, even tho it still hurts, I pushed through the pain and went on a nice hike with my dog. It was a beautiful brisk day with lots of sun! I also found some sodium free!!!! beef broth, I am going to make a pot of french onion soup :)

Kimberly,

Getting out and keeping on the move is so crucial and on a nice day it probably did you more good than you can imagine. Enjoy your onion soup!

prayers on the way!!!!!

I *did* do me good! My knee doesn't hurt half as bad as it did, and just being in the woods in the fresh air with my doggie trotting happily along with me--often stopping to sniff and pee, sometimes trotting ahead--the grin on his sweet face alone made it worthwhile!! Onion soup is smelling good, almost done :)

Ohh, home-made chicken soup sounds wonderful! I have never had the nerve to try making it.

yesterday, my best friend and me went to Nuremberg for a small shopping trip :)

despite her having an MS flare and me later on having a mighty migraine, we both had a nice day and while I didn't spend a lot of money, we stiff brought back a lot of nice knickknacks and goodies and some sweets <3

Nuremberg is such a nice city (I studied there a few years ago) and it was sooooo awesome to come back there

Kimberly....don't be afraid to make home made chicken soup. It practically makes itself. Just need the ingredients and throw it all together in a large pot, simmer low with the lid on. I like it better using the dark meat, like thighs or legs, tastier. I add carrots, celery, parsley and/or cilantro and a small chunk of fresh ginger(pealed). I can't eat onion or garlic presently, but some people like those in it. You can adjust the salt. I use filtered water and organic ingredients. It's done when the meat falls apart with a fork. Most of the time I throw the veg's in whole and then after all are cooked and soft I can cut them on side of the pot with a knife. Then you can scoop the soup over whatever carb you like, cooked noodles, quinoa, rice whatever.
