My Four Legged Sanity

#1

Ok, folks. Here we go again. We are fostering a herd. Each one reminds me of someone I know. We also adopted a fantastic 75 lbs. dog sitter. She is Pit Bull. Sounds scary BUT she's not. She has her own fish pond. We had to transfer fish to other pond. She knows her commands, very protective of tiny foster dogs and us.

Sort of like me, she was adopted 4 times and returned to the shelter. Charles and I couldn't stand her being locked in a kennel. Very smart, spoiled, a blessing.

I hope all have a wonderful weekend.

This is such a grand group.

God bless all of us.

We had pit bull for 5 years. She was one of the best dogs we ever had. Have a great weekend. I hope she brings you much joy.

What a great story. I also do foster care for rescue dogs. We have our own female boxer that takes it as her personnal mission to protect and teach the fosters how things are done. What a joy the dogs are and they always know when I just need to sit and cuddle or have my legs layed on to release some pain.

I also have a “herd” - a 11yr old 100lbs Great Dane/Lab, a 8yr old 50lbs Aussie Mix, a 3yr old Keeshond and my current foster - a 20lbs Shetland Sheepdog. Up until my problems with Fibro, I trained and competed with my Aussie and Kees in agility. I hope to get back into that soon. I show my Kees in comformation too. Can you tell my pups are a huge part of my life!

  1. Thank you for sharing this! Your new dog must be so happy to finally have a forever home. And you too. What a nice trio you will make. I hope you all enjoy each other for many, many years. Our four legged friends are some times our best friends.

Hi Happy When Quiltin'

Am I correct in assuming you must be a quilter? So am I! We will need to chat about that. I am also a Pit Bull fan. Ours thought he was a 10lb. lap dog! He was a hoot!

Keep on quiltin!
