Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone follows a certain diet plan for their fibromyalgia? If so can you give me an idea of what it consists of and doesn't? Years ago I was eating low carb foods and noticed a difference in my IBS, I have no clue why I stopped :( but I can't tell you of any difference in my joint and muscle pain because I wasn't really dealing with that as much. Also I have been hearing about taking B12 and magnesium? Thanks in advance!
Hi Traci! I've had Fibro for 23+ years and never followed a certain diet until recently. I find that the fruits/veggies that are called Nightshades cause terrible joint pain, which I've been suffering with for a few months!! My prayers were answered when I stumbled on an article about them. Of course, they're my fave foods..tomatoes, peppers of any kind, potatoes. I'll have to get back to you on the progress if any; it's only been 24 hours! Really, so far, so good...lots less pain. Lori
