I have noticed that the pupil in my right eye doesn’t close down the same amount as the one in my left eye. It is twice the size of the left in the morning when it is most pronounced. Has anyone else had eye issues from fibromyalgia? Or should I worry about neurological issues?
I would strongly suggest that you make an appointment with the eye doctor. No one here can answer the question because there are presumably a few possibilities. Please make an appointment with your eye doctor as soon as possible.

Hi Hatshep, and welcome in!
Cleveland clinic says it’d be called mydriasis if the pupils stayed dilated, didn’t shrink, and is called anisocoria when one pupil is more dilated than the other, both pupils react normally to light but vary in size by more than half a millimeter (wikipedia says less than 1mm), affects about 20% of the population. Dilated Pupils (Mydriasis): What Is It, Causes & What It Looks Like
From what you are saying it doesn’t seem like mydriasis, because from what you’ve said it is shrinking, rather it is called anisocoria. Question is: which type?
An overview on Wikpedia says it can be harmless to life-threatening, but if that’s your only symptom in this direction it will very likely be the physiological anisocoria referred to above. If it’s not tho, it’d be risky not getting it checked, like Sharon says. Especially because you’ve described a pretty big size difference in the mornings. A specialized eye doc would be my first address, like Sharon’s.
I can say it’s definitely not fibro. And even if it were I always recommend getting anything checked once you’ve got your basics sorted.
Eye problems we have with fibro are for instance lens accomodation (blurred vision) or dry eyes (sicca syndrome, check for Sjögren’s if also dry mouth and more). (These are hardly worth checking specifically, apart from Sjögren’s and can be treated a bit with exercises like gentle gua sha, eye massage, if need be with drops etc.
Thank you both! I was more wondering if others had eye issues. I just figured out and officially got diagnosed with fibromyalgia so I don’t know what is common and what could be something else. I am going to make an appt with an eye doctor (now that I have health insurance and can afford it) and see what they say. Again, thank you for the responses.
