I see that there is a group, yet no one has started a discussion. I thought that I would start one because living with two boys, one of whom is ADHD, can be extremely overwhelming. Constant messes…Continue

Comment by spirit1 on October 22, 2012 at 11:25pm Hey fellow parents: I hope you all are well. I am hanging in there, although it is rough. My son is 4 and a 1/2 and quite active. I have less and less energy for him, and I feel terrible about it. I feel as though I'm short-changing him because of my illness. He's still a child and needs to play. I don't have a yard where he can romp around outdoors by himself, and I'm too hurt and fatigued to take him to the playground. I'm not necessarily asking for advice; I'm just venting right now. This is frustrating. How do you parents cope?

Comment by spirit1 on August 15, 2012 at 11:44am Hi Sherri, I'm so sorry you're going thru this; my legs have hurt for the past 3 days straight. I've had fibro since last year and i'm managing it finally with Lyrica and pain meds, but it doesn't help 100%. I have a 4 year old. I also have older children. My husband has health issues. It is rough. I'm trying to get SSI now and they're giving me a tough time. I wish you all the best. Thanks for sharing because you need to vent.
