Comment by Teresa Ferenz on March 10, 2012 at 6:00pm We all need more humor in our lives? Make it an exercise! Something you must do daily! Did you know laughing 100 times is equal to working out on treadmill for 10 minutes?
I think the more laughter, humor we have during the course of a day, not only helps our disposition, but also can help with the pain levels.
I try to also meditate with God and read scriptures daily, but I have a book by Barbara Johnson called, "Humor Me."
I have a clean joke sent to me daily by email. It gets going with laughter quickly. Smile everybody, God loves you and so do I.

Comment by Froggy on December 8, 2011 at 7:18pm Hi guys,
Been off here for a while and just got the invite for this group. Had a pretty good summer, met a nice guy and still seeing him. I've had a bad sinus infection for the past week and it's kicking my butt!. The sinus pressure and pain is almost unbearable at times. I have been on an antibiotic and just can't seem to "turn the corner". I started a new job a month ago with Macy's in Cincy - I am working for the Dist. Director of HR. It's part time but I love it! Not working in the store on my feet all day nights and weekends has made a huge difference in my pain. In fact I was just bragging to my daughter yesterday about how I haven't had any narcotic pain meds fo a month now. Well, let's just say that I jinxed myself!! Today, I can tell the cold weather has set in. My body hurts so bad today. I hate winter. All joints hurt. I will say that the Savella has helped so much with my muscle twitches and fog. It's not a great pain med for me, but I have tried all the fibro drugs -neurotin, lyrica and cymbalta. Wishing you all the Happiest of Holidays and a LESS PAINFUL NEW YEAR!!!
Comment by Connie on November 29, 2011 at 8:38pm Hi everyone! I've been keeping myself motivated by staying working and i even decided to go back to school; grad school that is. sure i have my flares but i take what meds i can and say my prayers to help me keep going. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and raynauds syndrome; but none of these have me. ;) Let me know what i can to help anyone with.
